🐶General description
"I am a very expressive, curious, and energetic little dog who loves spending time outdoors. My foster family says I'm a little clown. Clumsy and very cute, I love playing with my friends, running, exploring, and digging holes! I need time to adjust when I meet new people or am in a new environment, so I am looking for a caring family who will support me as I learn.
🐕🐈👶Living with others
I am the only dog in my foster family. However, I have had the opportunity to interact with several dogs, cats, and children. The presence of another dog is beneficial for me. I am very good with them, I understand their language well, and I adapt to my fellow dogs. My adoptive family should therefore have another dog with whom I can play and feel safe. I have also temporarily lived with cats, and although I was very curious at first, I am now able to be respectful. I am quite shy with new adults I meet and need time to feel confident. I like children and feel more comfortable with them than with adults.
🏡Inside
Inside the house, I am free at all times, night and day. I do very well when my humans are present. When I am alone, I am less comfortable and cry a lot. I am learning to be alone, and my foster humans believe that a well-balanced canine partner will help me stay calm and peaceful when they are away. A family that is around a lot would obviously be ideal for me. Since I am vocal, it is impossible for me to live in a condo or apartment. I am proud to say that I am house-trained. I ask to go outside when I need to, but I need to go out often because I can't hold it in for very long yet. I am very intelligent and very greedy, I understand the “sit” command well, and I am good at coming when called.
🦴I am a big foodie! Food, treats, and even things that aren't meant for me... So watch your snacks! I have a high chewing need, which helps me a lot when I feel a little nervous or just to keep myself busy.
🌳Outdoors
I love the great outdoors. It will be very important for me to have access to a large yard in my future family. A fenced-in yard would be ideal for me since I tend to try to chew through ropes. If I'm with dogs that stay close to home, I'll stay with them, but if my canine friends are runaways, I want to be part of the adventure too! I have a passion for digging, I like to eat branches, and I also like to snoop around everywhere. I don't prey on anything, but I would never say no to a squirrel hunt. My favorite activity is fishing, so watch out for your catch—I'll be happy to steal it from you. I love playing with other dogs and with my trusted humans. I'm very playful with children and I really enjoy games of chase. I love going for walks. I'm curious and confident. I definitely have potential for sledding sports.
🚗Transportation and handling
I really enjoy being in the car, I am calm and can handle long journeys. When it comes to handling, I cooperate well if you are gentle.
🩵I am an exceptional young dog with enormous potential. I have a lot of love to give to those who will give me time to be tamed. I am looking for an experienced family who already has a dog, who loves nature and outdoor activities. The family that adopts me will need to devote time to building our bond of trust and allowing me to adapt smoothly.
