Our Mission

To collaborate with First Nations and Inuit communities in providing sustainable and ethical solutions for canine population management.

Through our sterilization clinics, our team offers professional support to examine, sterilize and deworm animals in need, aiming to promote safe and harmonious cohabitation between dogs and their communities.

Our Vision

Our organization’s vision, focused on managing canine overpopulation in First Nations and Inuit communities, rests on three core pillars: collaboration, the interconnection between animal health and public health, and community self-determination.

We firmly believe that cooperation with community stakeholders and public health organizations is essential to developing viable solutions that honor the cultural practices and values of these communities.

Acknowledging the intrinsic link between animal health and human health, we prioritize sterilization programs, treatments, and education initiatives that benefit the well-being of entire communities.

Finally, we are committed to supporting the self-determination of First Nations and Inuit communities by actively involving them at every stage - before, during, and after our clinics -  and by equipping them, to the best of our ability, with the resources needed to independently manage the canine populations.
