🐶 General description

"I am a puppy bursting with energy, playful and sociable. I am curious and love to explore. So it's no surprise that my name means “the one who discovers,” right? I am a little independent and sometimes take a while to feel completely comfortable. Although I am not the most affectionate dog, I will show you my affection by lying down at your feet.

🐕🐈👶 Living with others

I currently live with two large dogs aged 5 and 10, a cat, a guinea pig, and two young girls aged 6 and 12. I get along well with everyone! With children, I may nibble their hands when I'm excited, so this is something my future family will need to work on with me.

🏡 Indoors

I live freely in the house with my dog friends. I don't do anything out of the ordinary for a puppy my age. At night, I sleep in a large crate near my humans' bed and my dog friends. I don't really like going there during the day, especially if I'm alone. I'm almost house-trained and I'm asking to go outside more and more. If I have access to the outdoors, I go on my own! Otherwise, I use the training pads. I already know “sit” and “no,” which is especially useful when I try to steal food from the table! I learn quickly and understand tone of voice well. I sometimes bark when I'm happy, if I want attention, or if I want to get out of my cage.

🦴 I'm very greedy and tend to want to steal food when it's accessible. I tend to chew, especially when I'm excited, so I need to be given lots of chew toys

🌳 Outdoors

I love being in the big backyard with my dog friends. I don't try to escape. For now, I prefer to do my business in the garden rather than on walks. I like to observe and wander around outside, but I stay calm and don't show any predatory behavior. I've tried walking in a harness, alone and with my friends. I'm well-behaved, but I'm still learning. I don't pull much and I'm curious.

🚗 Transportation and handling

In the car, I'm calm in my carrier, but I like being close to my little humans even more. I let myself be handled easily (grooming, petting), but you have to be careful of my nipping when I'm excited.

🩵I am a lively, curious, and very sociable puppy. I need a gentle and patient family who is ready to teach me good habits. I really enjoy the company of other dogs and would be happy in a home with a fenced-in yard, toys, and regular walks. I am an endearing companion looking for a loving family who is ready to accompany me on my discoveries.
