🐶General description

"Hello, my name is Precious, and I'm the proud mom of little Atcakoc and Sokerimo. I'm a sweet, patient and affectionate dog. I love to be petted and I like to sleep close to my humans. I'm very playful, especially when it comes to chasing a ball! As for my daughters, they're growing up beautifully. I've put a lot of effort into giving them a good start in life. They are becoming increasingly curious and confident, love to play together and are already seeking out the presence of humans.

🐕🐈👶Cohabitation

We currently live with a large adult dog. I get on very well with him and love playing with him. The little ones, on the other hand, are more reserved but appreciate his reassuring presence. At first, we were separated by a fence, as I wanted to protect my very small puppies. But as soon as they grew up, I was keen to get to know her, and we quickly forged a beautiful bond. We share games, cuddly toys... and the ball! There's also a cat in the house, which has aroused my predatory instinct, which is why we're now separated. As for the little ones, they're starting to take an interest in it from a distance; Sokerimo even talks to it a little, but they keep their distance. I've met many adults and children and I'm always very sociable. I love petting and human contact. The girls, being young, haven't seen many people, but every encounter is a success: Sokerimo is the most cuddly, while Atcakoc loves to play... sometimes with her little teeth!

🏡Inside

Our humans work at home, so we're rarely alone. I'm free in the house, as are my girls. We have access to toys, balls, cuddly toys... and we love to sleep! I generally sleep well at night, unless there's an animal in the garden - then I sound the alarm. I have to say that I take it to heart to keep an eye on my surroundings, but I'm starting to get used to the different noises around me. The girls tried the cage for the night, but it wasn't for them. Now they sleep free and behave themselves. They don't make a mess, as long as there's something to keep them occupied.

As for cleanliness, I'm not worried! The girls are quick learners, but there's still work to be done. They sometimes scratch at the door to get out, but their ability to restrain themselves is still limited. I know “sit” - very handy for treats! - Atcakoc and Sokerimo are beginning to respond to their names, and understand very well when we announce: “We're going to eat”. They eat quietly together. They have a wet feed and show no signs of resource protection. I eat quietly, separated from my canine friend, but I can enjoy a treat with him without worry. I love to chew, and always have sticks available.

🌳Outdoors

We're lucky enough to have a fenced-in, secure courtyard, where we spend a lot of time. We play, we run, we rest under the patio. I take the ball home, although my boyfriend has taught me that it's even more fun to run with it! I like to chew sticks and bark if I see a squirrel or a bird. We're working on reducing this barking with treats, and I've already made good progress. Apartment living wouldn't suit me. I respond well to recall in the yard, but show signs of predation toward small animals and cats. I don't dig, but the girls like to make little holes. When we want to go inside, we sit in front of the patio door and make ourselves heard if we're ignored. I haven't had the chance to do much walking yet, as I had to stay close to my babies. When I go out, I don't pull: I prefer to sniff around. I'm curious about cars and may want to chase them, but my humans are working on that, slowly.

🚗Transport and handling

I've taken a few car trips in a cage. I get in with no problem and remain calm, even though I'd prefer to be on the bench seat. I let myself be handled without stress: scratching, massaging, clipping claws... As long as there's petting and treats, I cooperate! My daughters haven't yet been in the car since they arrived, but they're fine with being handled and having their claws clipped, whether I'm there or not.

All in all, we dream of a family that is present, gentle and patient. A house with a fenced-in yard or secure grounds would be ideal for me. A dog friend would be a plus, but I can also spend some quality time alone with my humans. The girls are still very close, but they also know how to play independently. We still have a lot to learn, but we're smart, willing and full of love to give. I'm very gentle and always looking for a relationship, but I won't be able to live with small animals. Atcakoc and Sokerimo, on the other hand, are young and could learn to live with a cat or other calm animals. We would be very happy in a family with respectful children."
